Walk-ins:
You are welcome at Ocean Palm Spa at any time, we will
serve walk-in clients on a first come first served basis.
Reservations: We
recommend that reservations be made in as far advance as possible
to avoid disappointment. For group bookings it is wise to
reserve three weeks prior to arrival. Please guarantee your
service with a credit card.
Check-In Policy: The
nurturing essence of Ocean Palm Spa includes steam room and
showers, both ladies and men’s locker rooms, lounge
with fireplace and a quiet room to reflect on your spa experience.
Allow yourself time to enjoy our amenities and relax prior
to your spa service. Please arrive 15 minutes before your
first scheduled appointment.
Late Arrival: In
the event that you arrive late for your appointment, your
treatment will be shortened in order that the next guest may
begin their treatment on time. Full charges apply.
Service Cancellations:
The minimum time required for cancellation of an appointment
without being charged the 50% service fee is four hours. For
group reservations or spa packages, we require a 48-hour cancellation
notice to avoid a service fee. No-show guests will be charged
100% treatment cost.
Shaving prior to treatments:
Shaving prior to a scrub treatment can result in irritation
and is not recommended. For gentlemen however, it is recommended;
if you choose to shave before your facial, please do so at
least two hours prior to your appointment to avoid discomfort.
What to Wear: Dress
comfortably. The spa will provide you with a locker and a
lock for your clothing and other belongings, as well as a
robe and slippers to wear between treatments. Ocean Palm Spa
is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. We recommend
that jewelry and other valuables be left at home for added
security.
Privacy: Body treatments
are usually carried out without clothing, however, you may
wear underwear or a swimsuit if you are more comfortable.
*At all times during the body treatment private parts of the
body are draped. Our Spa professionals are exceptionally well
trained to insure your comfort.
Age Requirements: Ocean
Palm Spa is a wellness and balance facility focusing on persons
over the age of 16. Parental consent required for persons
under the age of 16. We ask that children not be brought into
the spa unless they have a scheduled appointment.
Health Concerns:
Our Spa Reception staff will ask you questions when booking
to help you avoid treatments that are contraindicated for
high blood pressure, heart disease, allergies, diabetes or
any other physical ailments or disabilities as well as pregnancy.
Feel free to inform us if you have any concerns or at any
time during your services you experience discomfort.
Gift Certificates: Gift
Certificates and Gift Packages are available from our Reception
Desk.
Payment: We accept
all major credit cards, Interac and cash.
Gratuities: Tips
are not included in the cost of your treatment. Should you
wish to leave a tip, you may do so either with your Therapist,
or when you check out at the end of your treatment.
Spa Etiquette: Dedicated
to delivering the true spa experience in a soothing and relaxing
environment, the tranquility of the spa is of utmost importance.
Please turn off all cellular phones, pagers and CD players
before entering the spa. Remember that spa voices are soft
voices.
