Owner/director
Born in Manchester England.
I have been working in the spa industry for
over thirty years. After an extensive five year schooling
in England, France and Switzerland I received my international
diploma with C.I.D.E.S.C.O. In 1977 I arrived inVictoria,B.C.
Canada, to open one of the very first Day Spas on Vancouver
Island. and since then have continued on a journey of devlopment
in Spa's. Owning and operating my own Day Spa Elaine Lesley
Aesthetics and International Day Spa for over twenty years.
I then branched out into consulting, planning and developing
and opened several of B.Cs largest facilitys.
As a graduate of C.I.D.E.S.C.O. I have available
to me a network of some of the top practitioers in the world.
This organization located in Zurich, Switzerland, is governed
by medical doctors, endrocrinologists and plastic surgeons.
They are the standard for our industry throughout the world.
As North America moves into the arena of cosmoceuticals my
training has even more impact.
My intention is always to offer the highest
level of professionalism in service and product and for us
to exceed in your expectations of spa experience and this
reputation and achievement has been a constant in whatever
endeavours I have been involved in.
I am currently taking a more active role to
introducing with my partner Christopher Wootton an aspect
of wellness- Body,Mind and Spirit- to our industry. Another
area of pursuit is the area of Retreats, a total package,
which enhances our guests experiences with our spa.

Born in Devon England 1953.
Resident of Victoria B.C. since 1972.
My spiritual journey has led me to work for
the transendental meditation movement in Germany and France,
becoming a teacher of T.M. in 1977.
To sponser, organize and facilitate spiritual lectures and
retreats for Ramana, founder of Radical Awakening.
I spent time at the sacred mountain of Aranachula in southern
India and at Ramana Maharishi Ashram.
I have listened and studied under many teachers,
my desire for the Ocean Palm Spa is to create a space for
the development of peace and awareness of consciousness through
the therapeutic physical nurturing of spa, combined with the
guidance of spiritual leaders in their field.
